Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Alex studied atChapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, earning a B.F.A. in Film Production with an emphasis on cinematography and directing before diving headfirst into post.
His first post-supervisor role was on Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me(2014), which earned an Oscar nomination and a Grammy award.
