Documentary Colorist & Dailies Color

Color is the final brushstroke — where the mood, tone, and emotion of a documentary come alive. I take raw footage and shape it into a look, whether that’s refining a single shot or defining the visual grammar of an entire film.

I’m an Emmy Award–winning colorist (FOX Sports), and I grade documentaries, features, and music films out of MOSAIC, the color & DI finishing facility I co-founded in Burbank. Full HDR and Dolby Vision mastering, dailies for series and features, and client-facing remote sessions with directors and producers in the chair.

03 Common questions

Do you grade in HDR and Dolby Vision?
Yes — I master in HDR and Dolby Vision and deliver the matching SDR trims, so your film hits spec on every platform from theatrical to streaming.
Can my director or producer join the session remotely?
Absolutely. Remote grading with the director in the chair — live — is a normal part of how I work at MOSAIC. You see the same image I do, in real time.
Do you handle dailies as well as the final grade?
Both. I do dailies color for series and features, and because I also conform and finish, the look you approve in dailies can carry cleanly through to the final DI.
Where do you grade?
At MOSAIC, a state-of-the-art color and DI finishing facility in Burbank that I co-founded in 2025. It’s built so a project can be scoped once and handed off once — from ingest to archival master.
